Ayurveda the Science of Self Care

Native to India, Ayurveda is the ancient medicinal form, developed during the Vedic times about 5000 years ago. Ayurveda literally means the ‘Science of Life’. It is governed by the laws of nature which suggests that life is a combination of senses, mind, body and soul. Ayurveda gives a complete look into the lifestyle of a person and teaches how to live life in a balanced way which is disturbed in the present scenario due to various factors.

To heal and rejuvenate myself, I availed for a full fledged Ayurveda wellness package which runs the gamut from oil massages, Ayurveda treatments, luxurious accommodation and Ayurvedic diet food to herbal steam baths along with several complimentary services like personal consultations and yoga classes.
Ayurvedayoga retreat Dehradun is the only resort of its kind, which offers a ‘Home away from Home feeling’. First and foremost, I had a consultation with the Ayurvedic doctors and a naturopathist who detected my disease and then recommended me some Ayurvedic treatments to go for. My session started with an hour long Yoga classes that helped achieve physical well being, mental peace and harmony within.
Amritas, the Ayurveda centre at Naturoville practices and propagate the ancient rituals of Ayurveda and for deep healing and unification of Mind, Body and Soul. The program included Body purification and stress management program. The genuine Kerala Ayurvedic therapies combined with Yoga provided deep healing from within. The doctors here are highly qualified and well experienced who diagnoses you with utmost care and proposes just the right treatment taking care of the patient’s needs and health.

The treatment is done on a routine basis with special attention to diet and lifestyle, helping the body and mind to be clean and stable. The authenticity and the commitment to the Ayurveda were evident in the use of age- old powders, oils, rituals and qualified therapists trained in traditional Ayurvedic schools.  After my session was over, in the end, the doctors gave some tips and take home information on your lifestyle and dietary changes that can and will bring balance in daily life and restoring to a state of vibrant health.
